Yes. We can only buy a car from the registered owner or approved authority acting on your behalf, so we’ll need to see some photo id. But that’s all – we’ll deal with all the legal paperwork, or we can simply leave you the number plates and you can deregister the car yourself.
Our cash offer may surprise you. Sometimes, when faced with an insurmountable mechanic’s bill, it may work out better to give us a call. Depending on the condition of the vehicle, we can offer up to $10,000.
Yes. If it has an engine and gearbox, we’ll pay some money even for older model cars.
It’s simple. Get an instant quote from us over the phone or via email. Then, we’ll arrange to inspect the vehicle and offer you a final price. Once that’s agreed upon, we’ll give you the money and take away the vehicle for free.
You’ll receive the plates from us for you to take to your nearest VTNZ, VINZ, or AA branch. At any of these offices, you can cancel the registration. To do this, you must be the registered owner of the vehicle and present current photo identification. The cancellation process is free unless there are outstanding fees for registration or diesel mileage. If your vehicle is currently registered, you can also claim a refund for the remaining registration period, which NZTA will send to you via mail.
